In case you missed it...

Dolly Parton kicks off CMA Fest next month. The legend will be at Fan Fair X on Thursday, June 6th, on the CMA Close-Up Stage. CMA Fest runs from June 6th through the 9th in downtown Nashville, and features meet-and-greet sessions, special performances, as well as the Close-Up and Spotlight stages.

Reports coming out of Indio, California suggest that their on-stage collaboration wasn't the only performing Morgan Wallen and Post Malone did together over the weekend. While fans on hand got to see the two perform "I Had Some Help" live during Morgan's set Sunday night, it seems the two were also busy filming what may be a video for the yet-to-be-released song. A fan caught a glimpse - and a pic - of the two at the Joshua Tree Saloon during Stagecoach, dancing in the back of an old pickup truck as a cameraman moves in and out from them. The scene is extremely lit up, and fireworks appear in the background. Sounds like whatever they were filming had a summertime theme, so could we see and hear an official version of the song before July 4th?

Friendship means being able to be honest with your buddy. Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton have been friends for a long time, and honesty between the two is not a problem. Both country stars are also TV stars, with Blake's long stint as a coach on "The Voice" and Luke's run as a judge on "American Idol." Blake also doubles as series creator and host for the bar-themed game show "Barmageddon," which has achieved success for two seasons (so far) on the USA Network. It's the latter show that Luke has some ideas about. Luke suggested a spinoff to his buddy, but it wasn't well received. His idea? "Farmageddon" - as you can imagine, it's a competition centered around the farm, rather than your local watering hole. Blake...took a pass. "He's got a lot of stupid ideas, but he's got a lot of ideas," he joked of the pitch. "He's constantly trying to come up with what's next. That's why he's been so successful, because he never stops thinking and stuff. Eventually he hits on something." So that idea may not have landed with Blake, but remember Luke: as Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100-percent of the shots you don't take" - so keep those ideas coming.
